Age Concern Powys

Age Concern Powys
Age Concern Powys is a registered charity providing a range of healthy ageing activity, information and advocacy services to older people living in Powys.

We currently deliver the following:

A powys wide Advocacy Service for people aged sixty and over.
Information, signposting and referrals to local agencies.
Support for social and leisure activity development in areas of South Powys including a lunch club, chair based exercise classes, community food co-ops, digital photography and IT skills.
A Walking for Health project delivering a programme of group led, gentle walks in areas of South Powys.
A Community EngAGE project providing opportunities for people aged 50+ to develop local activities, have their say about how services are delivered and to meet key decision makers.

We also have a range of volunteering opportunities available and welcome interest by email or telephone
