Chestnuts is a Nursing Home for Older People offering nursing and respite care in a warm and homely enviroment.

Set in rural surroundings on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, the home is located within Llangattock village on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Crickhowell and eight miles from Abergavenny.

Residents are all supported by experienced staff who ensure their physical, intellectual,emotional and social needs are met. A G.P. from the local surgery visits every week day and we also offer the services of a chiropodist and optician.


We have specialist equipment to aid with Activities of Daily Living. We offer a wide range of activities and outside entertainers visit the home on a regular basis but we also respect a person's need for peace and quiet and choice on how they wish to spend their day.
